It seems like there must at least one exclusive item for the SDCC, just wondering will Lego release the item before the event, or just release the day it begin to sell? Also...I live in Boston, and I cannot make it this time, so is there anyone could help me to buy one in the event? If it is a set related to Star Wars... Many thanks!!!!! I can pay you via paypal:)

No one knows what the item will be yet definitively, or even what theme it will be in relation too (except for Lego obviously).

The standard is that they release the item during the 1st or 2nd day of the Comic Con event. Typically done through some sort of raffle/costume contest/building challenge.

Not necessarily. The Star Wars tin was sold each day of SDCC, I believe 1000 each day. It was the minifigs and pickable models that were done by lottery.

I completely bypassed tins in my answer and focused on the exclusive figures.

I hate those things (tins), and didn't think twice about mentioning them. Oops! Thanks for the catch :o)

It is very doubtful they will be doing Star Wars tins a second year in a row.

I don't think tin will come again, but there should be something limited but it is available for everyone.

I am planning on going and will be there for two days. In the past they have only allowed you to purchase two sets. I already have my second one spoken for. If I am able to buy a third set on my second day there then it is yours.

If you can do that, I will be thankful.

Actually, if you go there for two days, is that means you can get 4 sets :) I really want to have one of that... Although I didn't go there personally...

Do you mind if you leave your email address to me so that we can communicate personally?
