The mid-level manager I spoke to first said she could only give me 10%, but I then escalated it to the assistant store manager and she immediately agreed to give me 35% off as a substitution for the rain check.
I let my 2 boys pick out what they wanted and we ended up with:
#79104 TMNT: The Shellraiser Street Chase - $38.99
#70402 Castle: The Gatehouse Raid - $19.49
I tried steering them a bit towards the Fire Station and the Cargo Plane, both $99.99 and they've asked for both in the past, but they had their minds set.
But again it is all on if you also want that set.
If you are looking at ir solely from a reseller point of view, it may not be great if there is only one.
But if you are looking at it from a standpoint of being a collector, buying for a child or buying for someone else in mind then I would say it is a pretty good deal.
I just enjoy putting them together and playing with my 2 boys!
My kids and I build a ton of Lego. We've run out of space to keep/display/play with them.

* Competitor online items must be in stock at the time a price match is requested.
And yes, target.com is considered a competitor ...
You might want to point out to them that their website lists the items as available in-store and still lists the same price. But ya YMMV.
