If that does not confirm that Star Wars really happened then I don't know what will! ;o)
wow ok and I thought the "home taping is killing music" campaign was bad.
When I get the time, I think I will try to create an avator from #COMCON035-1 picture :)
Abbreviated to sidewindr in the late 90s for IRC (9 character handles), but that was taken already, so substituted the e for a 3 and voila...
Oh man that game was so cool back in the day! Totally forgot about it. Nice.
The Z is my first initial, but i don't no what the rest means.
BS stands for BrickSet, but i wouldn't be surprised if it got confused with a certain cuss ward, i didn't notice until it was to late.
As for the avatar, that covers one of my other cherished interests which is astronomy. It's the shot looking back towards Sol catching the thin halo of atmosphere discovered around Pluto by the New Horizons mission in July 2016. It's a very cool pic and the color palette fits well with the username (plus it kinda looks like a single stud floating in space!)
Did you miss all the hubbub when the IAU determined that Pluto wasn't a real planet? That was one of the sticking points — no logo.
No way. That's my name too! And I get called Gman by quite a few people too.
My current moniker is a reference to my status as a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. There is a one time, unnamed character whom I have dubbed Searchlight, and he’s a Royal Guard-hence, SearchlightRG.
I was hoping for "Player 1" But that was already taken, along with 2, 3 and I think 4.
So this was my alternate fall back.
I am Sam.
Sam I am.
Most folks 'round here call me Mr Cross.
Well sorry, I'm new and I got a problem.
This little fella. I can't get the antlers to stick on with glue.
Have you tried staples?
I have gone by other possibly noticeable names in the past. In the earlier days of Lego accounts on their website I had the username ‘jango2’ because I liked Jango Fett and Episode II (those were simpler days).
I also went through a period of using Brickset prior to my current moniker under a separate account ‘Commander-Cody’. I believe I was one of the first to find and purchase Lego Ninjago sets and share it on a fan platform (Brickset of course) in late 2010 - https://brickset.com/article/1049/2011-sets-hit-the-uk-(at-last). Probably just as well I gave up on Cody though as I would’ve outranked Rex and that just wouldn’t seem right!
