My name comes from what a friend called me at the time when the first Back to the future came out. I was a big fan of that movie, and likes space /sci-fi.
So I ended up with this name on a few places online.
    Now also in Lego forums

I came up with this username when creating a Playstation network account, and figured I should do something with "Lego" in it because I like Lego. It took me a while to realize the similarity to the word "womanizer" and what that in turn suggested, but by then it was too late, as the PSN doesn't allow you to change your username, so I just decided to embrace it for every website and online thing since.

Mine is pretty self explanatory I guess, I'm a guy and I'm big. (I'm 6'4" tall). Big Guy (or derivatives thereof) has been my nickname since high school.

    Awesome thread.

I came up with my username by misspelling my own last name while falling asleep in english class my sophomore year. I have used this name online in games and forums for near on fifteen years now.

Mine is from Acts 19:11-20, where the sons of a priest named Sceva were trying to get rid of a demon in Jesus' name but didn't believe in Jesus themselves. The demon-possessed man then beats up all seven of them and strips them naked. They flee in such a state.
It is one of those stories most people don't know from the Bible and is loosely related to an aspect of my work as a pastor. Also, it is a story that I find humorous.

    @sonsofsceva - I've always found that one a bit humorous too :o)
I have always wanted to make an MOC out of that.

I like wild animals in general and think monkeys are among the funniest, have wanted one as a pet since being a kid (then I knew I didn't have the money, now I realise I don't have the facilities!)

Finally! I chose this username becase I thought it was cool at the time. Now I just wish it was my full name: Adeel Zubair. @Adzbadboy really gives a bad impression to people and I'm not like that at all, the avatar is cool though.

To be honest, my name isn't Eddie. The username has words that starts with each of my initials. I couldn't think of an E word at the time, so I chose Eddie.

I finally thought of one for the main brickset website. (ElephantsDon'tMingle)

My username goes way back to my school days, I had a friend who always used to say things were "shibby" if they were good, think he picked it up from one of the generic teen comedy movies. I found it quite amusing and started doodling awful little comic strips in MS paint which featured a character based on him called Shib. The name stuck when I started using it for email addresses etc.

Chris Mccandless called himself Alexander Suprtramp on his 4 year journey which ended sadly in Alaska.

True inspiration who followed his heart and went on to do what he believed in. He's one of the very few people i would have loved to meet if i could.

For the record im not a tramp and hate the band

Nice thread this, have been enjoying reading it for a while now. My time to post.

So,people used to cal me Snow White, seeing as I got black hair and white skin. I played her in school and it was mostly used by bullies who had nice tanned skin. I used to wear tights and try to cover up the whiteness but then I changed schools and decided that I did not need to be ashamed of who I was. The nickname started there as well (don't know how actually, no Internet in those days) but I've embraced it. Especially since I am a big fan of fairy tales so I guess there are worse things to be called. I did also meet my prince (well he was a scientist, not exactly the same thing) and it was love at first sight! We have been happily married for 7 years, which is the beginning of the ever after :-)

Oh, and seeing as some places already had snowwhite snow_white or other variations, i went with snowhitie in the hope that that would work everywhere (even if technically it has a spelling mistake).

Its not so easy anymore cuz I don't practice/play like I use to. I still can keep up with some of the youngins nowadays though

Mine is another reallyy boring one, when I brought my first internet accessible computer I had also recently purchased a motorbike, at a loss to find anything funny that wasn't overly rude to use as an email address bandit778 came from the model of motorbike with the three numbers in it's registration. The email addres was discontinued when I changed providers but due to the fact that I am bandit778 on eBay, amazon etc it was just convenient to keep the user name.
The avatar is of a pastel drawing of one of my favourite moments in cinema that I did several years ago when I actually had spare time. (The actual drawing measures 4' x 3').

I have had a career at sea from when I was 18. I have worked in China Navigation Company and during a roster in 1992 aboard mv CORAL CHIEF, I picked up the nick name Flags from my fellow officers. The name has stuck with me ever since.

It is quite an appropriate nick name as I have had an interest in flags from childhood.

Little kids aren't real clever when it comes to nicknames, so growing up a heavy-set Japanese kid in Western New York - you've only got two choices:  Sumo or Samurai.

(I kinda doubled-dipped by my avatar being the S3 CMF Samurai.)

My username isn't actually my name--I decided I might as well cut it short and save on typing, as well as generating something people would find more pronounceable. Dunno why English-speakers have a problem with a short, simple Greek name that divides into two common English words, but they have all my life. On both sides of the big pond.

It's my dog's nickname. I was looking around the room I was in scrambling for a username, and among other things my eye fell on him. I was very nearly "soup" or "cactus".

My system for coming up with passwords is equally as "brilliant". Its like "oh... um... look here's a fork, better make that a capital R, and then... what's the zip code of the sender on this random piece of junk mail? Great. Now let's add a symbol..." I do a loooot of the "forgot my username/password" security protocol on just about every website. Super genius over here! :)

My username started out as my handle for playing Q2 Loki's Minions CTF, HL, CS and other games online many years ago. It's simply made up of Judge (obviously), because I've always loved JD and then sort-of my own first name.
Don't call me just "Chuck" to my face. I'll get annoyed... Or "Chuckles". Or "Chas"... ;-)

My friends and I loved the movie Big Trouble in Little China when we were growing up. We used to quote that movie all the time (still do, actually). We were also big into playing pool and darts, one of my friends had a table and a couple of dart boards in his garage.

When we were older (and of course of legal drinking age) if I had one too many while playing I had a tendency to squint my left eye a lot to see across the table or see the dart board (on account of my friends switching that table for a bigger one and them moving the dart board farther away, of course). One night while playing pool after they had swapped the table on me again one of my friends pointed out that I looked like Eggshen from Big Trouble in Little China whenever I shot. I started quoting the movie every time I was up to and we had a good laugh. There are a ton of really funny lines that fit into a lot of situations. From that point on my friends referred to me as Egg or Eggshen.

Now I need to go watch that movie. If I'm not back by dawn, call the president.
