I think it was a legitimate question - how do you know that @dougts doesn't just have one of the three sets you're after and is just checking what you want?

I don't think the offer is all that ridiculous. The issue is would someone want Mr Gold for a retired Modular which are almost as rare as Mr Gold.

For my two cents @jvdrummer182 I'd sell on eBay Mr Gold then see if anyone is selling one of the Modulars you want . :)

agree, if he's asking for one of them. that is not remotely clear in his post or in his response to my asking, which is why I asked to begin with. It's a simple question really.

I'm sorry for trampling up your thread, I was only trying to help ascertain, for myself and other potential trade partners, what your expectations were, as they were entirely unclear (and still are).

I obviously know I'm reaching but who knows, there might be someone out there who has the 3 modulars to spare and really wants a Mr Gold and doesn't want to spend time hunting for him

I think both sides make fair points in this little debate. I have traded with @jvdrummer182 before and had no problems whatsoever, so I think it is unfair to say that he has 'conned' anyone, which @dougts has admitted to, so fair play to him.

However, I do think your reaction to dougts' comment was a little rash as you did leave your 'wish list' at the top somewhat ambiguous and with a record as clean as that of @dougts I would be frustrated to get my first 'abuse' click over something so petty.

Nevertheless, the best of luck to you. I would back up @indigobox's advice. Why not list him on eBay and then use that money to buy a Modular Building? :)

At least it was entertaining for a bit. @CCC, you seem to get into these marketplace debates quite often :) I do think a marketplace thread should be free of clutter. So, it is probably a good idea for this thread to be deleted and everyone just shake hands and cool off.
