    Sounds more like just a large one off model to me, if it had said the worlds largest Lego "SET" then i wouldve been more excited

    This is great, I'm getting a live webcam feed of the stand being built, they need to get their fingers out though - it almost 06:00 and there is still lots to do!

    Yep, it's an X-Wing. There's a big Lego Yoda there too and a bunch of Stormtroopers and Jawas wandering round.

    11:00 I read on the previous page.

    It 09:17 NY time now and they are still building the stand. (Works been a little slow today!) Should be 16:00 UK Time. Wonder if Huw has a press release timed to go out at 16:00 :-)

    Will there also be some overpriced goodies on Ebay tonght I wonder?

    Aah, I'm disappointed. Thought it would be made out of zillions of actual Lego parts.

    ^ As did I. It appears from images on the webcam earlier that it is merely set #9493 made out of giant Lego pieces. Perhaps the giant pieces are made out of regular pieces?

    There must be more to this, everyone who was 'in the know' (for instance @Huw) said it would be absolutely spectacular. I await more information as it appears...

    Oh my it's all happening now, I see a Jawa, Darth Vader, a Snowtrooper, some Stormtroopers, a Sandtrooper, a Death Star Gunner and plenty of Rebel Pilots.

    Am I the only one who was expecting it to be packed? I know there are still 20 minutes to go, but I would have expected it to be standing room only by now, whereas the seats seem very sparsely filled.
