National Model Engineering and Modelling Exhibition

TyoSoloTyoSolo Member Posts: 539
Tomorrow through to Sunday marks the annual National Model Engineering & Modelling Exhibition at The Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.

It also marks the first year that there has been LEGO on display, as members of Brickshire put on their first ever public display.

If you're around Harrogate this weekend, pop in and come for a chat. We're in the main hall on the back wall, near the canteen and the ladies room.

For more information on the exhibition, and for directions, visit the official website at http://www.theharrogateshow.com/.

    Good luck with the display Richard. I was chatting to Andy on AFOL day in Leeds and the enthusiasm from your group wanting to display was refreshing.

    Thanks Kev.

    We ran out of room! The event organiser is very pleased to have us, and I think he underestimated what you could do with LEGO. He's already offered us a bigger, more prominent area for next year.

    It'd be good to see you there with us next year ;-)

    @TyoSolo I take it it's indoors then?
    I'm guessing it had steam engines, model railways etc.....
    Probably the same as the show we did at event city.
    Is it open to all to exhibit?

    Yeah, sounds about right. Yes, I'm pretty sure it's open to any model engineering or modelling club.
