...and with the $$$, you just donating it to hospitals or donating lego bought with the $$$? either way awesome job!! im sure the kids on the receiving end will enjoy it. and hopefully this is enough encouragement to lead another donation/raffle.

Yay I have 0.5% chance to win Mr. Gold!! That's like a hundred times better odds than the old fashioned route.

The money will be taken and spent as wisely as possible on LEGO to suit each hospital

What a great effort Kev and all. My friend has a little boy getting treatment for leukemia at York Hill so had to put some cash into what is a fantastic cause.

I hope the giant Lego model being built in Time square is a statue of @kevbags.

He deserves some kind of monument for his outstanding contribution to helping others less fortunate.

    Way to go Kev :-)

With the initial donations I hoped for £1000. As more donations were offered up, I hoped £1500. When Mr Gold was generously donated, I hoped for £2000. But almost £4000 is amazing!!! This is a wonderful and generous community.

The next raffle should be even more amazing. I suspect there will be many more donations for prizes.

I think eleven hospitals now Lucy. Eight are confirmed, another is in the pipeline and work will be done to identify two more.

Fantastic job! I suspected there'd be a rush to get in under the wire, but I never dreamed it would go this high. Utterly amazing. @kevbags, you Hairy Fairy, you deserve your wings after this. :-)

What will you choose if you are first out of the hat tonight? Is it simply Mr Gold for everyone?

I would have gone Chrome Vader until Mr Gold was added.

I'd go for Mr. Gold. Then do a charity raffle for people to win him. We could just keep going on and on.

Sopwith (large, not poly) for me. Even when Mr Gold is there.

Mr Gold for me. But I'd be thrilled to beat the odds and win any of the prizes.

But even if I don't win anything, I'm looking forward to reading the stories of donations as and when they happen. I can already feel a warm fuzzy glow brewing!
