How Brickset calculates/determines "Want this set"?

Hi all,

Does anyone know how brickset determines or figures out the how many people want this set column in the browse section? Just curious. Thanks!

    When you are logged in and look at a set, on the right hand side (immediately below where it states how many people own/want a set) you can choose to indicate whether you own the set (and how many) or if you just want it. The numbers you see are an aggregate of everyone's action in that area.
