LEGO Rock Stage!

I'm having ago at my first LEGO design project and looking for some ideas/advice.
Being a big music fan, I'm looking to put together a rock stage.
My idea is that the speaker stack can conceal real speakers, and I can use an iPod for sound.
Then hook up some fairy lights for the lighting rig.
Guess I'll build the stage around the lighting rig.
Was also thinking of using turntable tiles for the audience, so they can face any direction.

For minifig, accessories and ideas, you can look at #850486.
To hide/frame speakers, the 2x2x10 Girders would do the trick, they are very stage friendly looking.

I've got a couple of those 850486's. Plus I worked on LEGO Rockband for DS as an artist, so got a few more ideas from there too.

That Gaga stage is quite something.
I might try to go for a bit of a dirtier club gig look!
